Welcome to Windy Hill Kennel, We have many breeds to choose from.

We Have Miniature Dachshund's:  Solid colors, dappel's, and piball's.  We also have long hair, short hair, and wire haired.

Other Breeds:  Pugs, Silky Terrier's, Miniature Schnauzer's, Yorkies, and Poodles.

Here at Windy Hill Kennel we are not like most kennels.  You may be thinking, " KENNEL, Aw poor dogs, locked up in small cages being mistreated."  Sorry, we are not like that at all.  There are some out there that do give kennels bad names.

Our dogs live in large kennels (10x10) with pea gravel as a base with chew bones, and toys to keep them comfortable.  We want our dogs to have plenty of room and be happy.  Every dog gets turned out everyday for exercise in 2 very large running pins.  In the pins we have a pool (to keep cool) and more toys for the dogs to play with.  We believe exercise keeps the dogs healthy, happy, and in good shape.  Besides they LOVE it.  It even gives them a break from their pins.

We do have a small running pin just for the puppies (6wks till gone) so they can run outside and just be puppies.  They really love it.

In our whelping house (where they are born & raised for the 1st 8 wks) we keep it very well ventalated, heated, and cooled.  We want to make sure our mommies are very comfortable.  There is music playing softly to help keep mommies calm during whelping.   We believe the noise of the music helps the older pups stay calm, so when they go to their new home they will be calm and not frightened or timid at different noises.  We believe it helps the puppy adjust well.
